THE ROLE : The Tax Coordinator is responsible for handling a broad range of administrative responsibilities within the tax department along with assisting in the completion of various tax reporting and compliance obligations.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES : To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Assist with various miscellaneous income and non-income related tax filings
• Help coordinate responses to tax notices and communications with taxing jurisdictions
• Liaising with third-party advisers to manage expectations and ensure all tasks are taking place according to assigned schedules
• Assist with the implementation of internal self-service communication platforms to streamline correspondence with the Tax department.
• Provide ad-hoc administrative support for the Tax Department
• Maintain tax department budget analysis and track all vendor invoices with third party advisors
• Manage tax return filing calendars and coordinate meetings

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Associates degree in accounting or equivalent experience
• Experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Strong Excel skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

The estimated salary range for this position is $20.00 / hourly to $30.00 / hourly. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
